Exploring Safely Since 1991
Initial Exploration Services has been exploring safely since 1991. We have completed projects in the High Arctic, the jungles of West and Central Africa, the foothills of Mexico, the rain forests of Fiji, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil, the fjords of Greenland, the deserts of the Western & Southern Sahara, Yemen and Oman, the outback of Australia, the Italian Alps, and across North America.
In recent years, we have assembled a diverse team of multi-disciplined professionals and entered into multiple strategic collaborations, enabling us to offer our clients a variety of geophysical services to complement their exploration efforts.

IES is committed to the health and safety of everyone on a project. We respect the environment we explore, and we are dedicated to the communities we work with. We have developed our own safety protocols (S.A.F.E) and standard operating procedures which have been audited by our junior exploration and major mining clients alike. Safety has been ingrained into the culture of our company’s employees, consultants and contractors.
