At Initial Exploration Services, we do things a bit differently than most. We are a bottom-heavy company and believe all great discoveries start with the hard-working teams in the field pushing buttons. As President and lead field operator since 1991, I understand the challenges of fieldwork and appreciate that a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment incorporating local community members makes for longevity in a career doing what we love to do most.
Our professional field operators know what will happen before it happens and can tap into decades of field experience to troubleshoot and solve problems.
We invest heavily in the latest gravity and electromagnetic instruments and software to keep our team at the top of their game.

At Initial Exploration Services, we invest heavily in the latest technologies, equipment, and software to ensure that we deliver the best possible results for our clients. We own and operate the largest fleet of Scintrex CG6 gravity meters in Canada and we maintain a large inventory of surface and borehole electromagnetic equipment manufactured by Electromagnetic Imaging Technology and by Geonics Canada. Our Geomatics team is powered by Trimble Technology.
